Why is it required to pass the KYC verification?
As a betting broker licensed and regulated in Curacao, we are always required to identify users on our betting platform. Identity verification is necessary to remain in compliance with KYC/AML laws (anti-money laundering), and as a result a specific list of countries are not available in the registration page. This process is essential so we can continue to offer our betting services in a secure manner to our customers.
Why do you ask for a selfie?
As part of the Easysportbet identity verification process, we ask you to submit a photo of yourself holding your identity document and a handwritten piece of paper. Selfies are convenient for us to verify your identity when compared to the photo on your government issued identity card, driver's license or passport. This procedure ensures the ID holder is the person using the betting account. It allows us to better safeguard your funds, and we always appreciate your cooperation with the process.
Do you share my personal data with third parties?
We do not share your personal data except if officially required following fraud suspicion or any kind of illegal activity. Please find more information on the following article: Security of your Funds and Personal Data.
