Peter Polansky from Canada has sadly never lived up to the expectations. He had a fine career so far but never managed to reach the top 100. At 33 years old, his career seems to be taking a declining trajectory, especially in 2021. This season, he won 6 matches and lost 15 times (5 wins – 8 losses on outdoor hard court).

Andrey Kuznetsov is the better player. It would be surprising not to see a repeat of last week's match.

Nagoya played their last 6 matches in the AFC Champions League (5 wins – 1 loss). In the Emperors Cup, they lately defeated much weaker team Mizushima by the scoreline of 5-0, and as for the J1 League, Nagoya is currently ranked #4 but with average results in the last encounters played (1 win – 2 draws – 2 losses).

Fagiano Okayama had a good win in the Emperors Cup last month when they defeated Verdy 1-0. As for their results in the second Japenese league - J2 League – they are not that good. Okayama is currently ranked at the #13 spot.
