Betting tips: Angola vs. Libya and Broady vs. Escobedo
- Angola vs. Libya (World Cup qualification)
- Liam Broady vs. Ernesto Escobedo (Cassis challenger)
Football – World Cup qualification: Angola vs. Libya
Angola started the competition with a narrow 1-0 loss to favorite Egypt. It was the first match played by the national team since Africa Cup of Nations qualifying, where Angola managed to pull only one win. The recent results could be a worrying factor heading to tomorrow's encounter.
Libya defeated Gabon 2-1 in the first match, which was Libya's first win in 2021. The next mach is undoubtedly a must win for Angola, and given the recent form of the two sides, a nervous and close encounter is expected. That being said, a quick look at the betting odds shows us Libya is available around 3.70 to secure the win. Many signs indicate that a draw is very possible, or a win by only one goal from either side.
Prediction: The Asian handicap market provides some good options. We predict Libya +1 goal (Asian Handicap).

Tennis – Cassis challenger R1: Liam Broady vs. Ernesto Escobedo
Liam Broady is having a good season so far, with 30 wins out of 49 matches played. The player from Great Britain reached his best career ranking a few months ago (#137) and has a very solid record on outdoor hard court this year (16 wins – 9 losses). Broady's most notable performances were at the Olympics where he reached the third round, beating in form Hubert Hurkacz in the process. The British player also reached two challenger finals, both times on hard court.
Ernesto Escobedo is a former top 100 player, he was ranked world #67 four years ago. Sadly, the American player failed to back up his best results and is now #178 at the world ranking. On the challenger tour, he is yet to reach a final this year. The most notable results were achieved in a ATP 250 event (Los Cabos) where he reached the quarterfinals, beating Mackenzie McDonald and Denis Kudla before losing to Cameron Norrie.
Cassis challenger is played on hard court, a surface that both players fancy. We noticed Broady is the underdog for this match, and in our opinion this encounter feels like a coin toss. The British player is not always consistent but he did gain a lot of confidence this season, and managed to deliver very good results on his best surface.
Prediction: The betting market is favoring Escobedo at the moment, which makes a bet on Broady a tempting option. We predict Broady to win (Match odds).
